Ausdrill, a Perth-based drill and blast and exploration company, is the preferred proponent for a $300 million contract for mining services on Toro Gold’s Mako project in West Africa.

Ausdrill will be providing provisions for a full suite of open-pit mining services on the Mako project site. Works are set to begin in January 2017 and will go on for the next six years.

“While some of the equipment required to perform the drilling, blasting, load, haul and crusher feed services will be sourced from within the group, the project will require capital expenditure of about $25 million for the acquisition of new equipment,” said Ausdrill.
