We’re proud to announce that PlantMiner is teaming up with Bravehearts to support their mission to make Australia the safest place in the world to raise a child.
PlantMiner will be supporting the annual White Balloon Day on the 8th of September 2017. Bravehearts’ White Balloon Day is an annual day that raises awareness about protecting kids from child sexual assault. For 21 years, White Balloon Day has helped educate the community about preventing this crime, while helping raise funds to Bravehearts’ essential counselling and education programs.
We were inspired by the team at Hutchinson Builders who donated a $1.3 million building so that Bravehearts could expand and continue their great work in a new office.

There are many ways for individuals or businesses to get involved in White Balloon Day. This year’s campaign will feature a national chalk art competition and a Virtual Balloon Race. The race, which launches virtually on 8 September from Parliament House in Canberra, will see computer generated balloons race against each other. The winning balloon will travel the furthest from the launch point based on an algorithm using real-time weather conditions generated from around 10,000 meteorological stations across the globe to closely simulate the flight paths of the balloons.
