Broad Construction - a member of the CIMIC Group - has recently secured a number of work contracts with a total value of $110 million for social and commercial infrastructure projects in Western Australia and Queensland.

The first contract is for the design and construction of Karingal Green which is a 160-bed state-of-the-art residential aged care facility for Hall & Prior in Perth, Western Australia. The development will include a healing and wellness centre. Work on this project is expected to be completed in December 2019.

The second contract secured by Broad is for works on The Annex development at Brisbane’s 12 Creek Street for Dexus Properties. Under this contract, Broad will undertake the demolition of the existing building and four-level basement. Broad will also build a 14-level office tower, which is set to be completed in early 2020.

The next contract was awarded by the Queensland Government for works on the Pimpama State Secondary College Stage 4 project. For this development, Broad will build new teaching spaces, facilities and sporting areas. Completion of this project is due by the end of this year.

“Broad is our specialist new build and refurbishment company and is delivering high-quality assets across Australia.

“We look forward to building a significant new aged care facility in Perth, a world-class commercial office tower in Brisbane’s CBD, and new facilities for students of Pimpama,” CIMIC Group Chief Executive Officer Michael Wright said.
