Conplant Acquires Compaction Australia

Written by Stephanie Baker | Feb 8, 2018 2:00:00 PM

As of the 1st February 2018, it was released that Conplant has acquired Compaction Australia.

Conplant is the largest compaction specialist in Australia and offers the most diverse and comprehensive range of compaction solutions including hire, sales, parts and service whilst being the sole Australian distributor for Ammann compaction equipment.
Compaction Australia is a Queensland based compaction hire specialist that has a well-known reputation for excellent customer service and quality equipment.

Conplant has been a registered supplier with PlantMiner for over 4 years now and during this time Conplant has returned over $300,000 worth of confirmed work for their business via PlantMiner leads.

Compaction Australia’s fleet includes high quality Ammann, Caterpillar and Hamm rollers, low loaders and field service vehicles.

Through this acquisition, Conplant will see Compaction Australia’s highly experienced staff join their team which will ensure all Conplant and Compaction Australia customers reap the benefits of increased capacity and capability.

According to Ian Coleman, Conplant’s Managing Director, this deal along with other mid-term plans will see Conplant’s fleet grow.

“Conplant’s fleet will grow to 1,000 rollers this year providing a more diverse pool of products for major projects and contractor needs, as well as, improved availability.”

Conplant is operating with the combined support of the two teams at their largest Queensland plant located in Yatala. All fleet and transport is being serviced and delivered from this facility.

“Compaction Australia customers shouldn't see any changes, apart from positives ones like having access to more technical know-how and a larger fleet,” said Ian.

“We’re looking forward to growing the combined fleets to better service and support Compaction Australia’s as well as our own customer base.”
