The New South Wales Government has appointed CPB Contractors to design and build the Wagga Wagga Health Service (WWHS) Stage 3 Redevelopment Project, generating the company approximately $107 million in revenue.

“We look forward to continuing our strong working relationship with NSW Health Infrastructure to ensure the safe and timely delivery of this important project,” CPB Contractors Managing Director Juan Santamaria said.

This stage of WWHS Redevelopment Project is set to deliver vital sub-acute, ambulatory, community and primary health services all in one location, which will provide for the future needs of the local communities in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.

  • 28 aged care beds, 24 rehabilitation beds, a 24-bed mental health inpatient unit and a 20-chair renal dialysis unit

  • An education area including library, conference rooms and a lecture theatre

  • A basement carpark

Construction on the WWHS Stage 3 Redevelopment Project is expected to commence this month, with the new facility due to be commissioned in late 2020.
