Perth-based contractor Decmil Group has recently been awarded a $40 million contract for works on two Rio Tinto operated mines in the Pilbara region in Western Australia.
Decmil will be carrying out the design, construction and commissioning of new facilities at Rio Tinto’s existing Nammuldi and Silvergrass mines in Pilbara. Under the same contract, the company’s scope of works will also include modifications and extensions to the Nammuldi mine’s existing facility.
Decmil will commence works immediately and is expected to complete construction in late 2017.
