Monadelphous awarded $110m worth of resources contracts

Monadelphous has been awarded maintenance and construction contracts for both the resources and infrastructure industries with a combined value of approximately $110 million.

The new work for the engineering company involves a three-year contract to provide shutdown maintenance, breakdown and repair services, minor project and ad hoc services for BHP at Mount Arthur Coal in the New South Wales Hunter Valley region.

In addition, Monadelphous has secured a two-year contract extension for the supply of mechanical services at Queensland Alumina in Gladstone, Queensland.

Included in the maintenance works is a three-year contract for the supply of rope access based mechanical maintenance, inspection and protective coating services for the Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal located in Mackay. Additionally, a three-year contract for the operation and maintenance of the Muka Power Station coal handling facility in Collie, Western Australia is also included.

An additional contract with Pukaki Irrigation has been secured by Monadelphous for the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a gravity pressurised irrigation scheme in the Mackenzie Basin located in New Zealand. These works are scheduled for completion in October 2018.
