Probuild has recently signed a design and construction contract with Greenland Australia for the completion of phase two of the Greenland Centre Sydney, within the $700 million budget allotted for the project.

Probuild will continue to build the 235-metre residential building located at 115-119 Bathurst Street in Sydney. The Greenland Centre Sydney is expected to be the tallest building in the city and it will feature 479 apartments as well as a 2,000 square metre Creative Hub which will be leased to the City of Sydney for 99 years.

“Greenland Australia is very pleased to partner with Probuild to deliver the Greenland Centre Sydney project. We will work collaboratively to solve the unique design and interface challenges that come with a build of this size. Most importantly, we have a shared vision of the program timetable and will deliver Sydney CBD’s tallest and most prestigious apartment tower together,” said Greenland Australia’s Managing Director Sherwood Luo.

According to Probuild NSW Managing Director Arthur Williams, construction is expected to commence almost immediately, overlapping the ongoing demolition works that’s being completed by Delta Group. Mr Williams said that Probuild is expecting to have full site possession by 2017.

The Greenland Centre Sydeny project is expected to be completed by 2019.
