The scope of works to be undertaken by the joint venture will include engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and commissioning of the BOP works for Yaloak Wind Farm. RCR and WBHO will be working on site access roads, hardstands, fences and drainage as well as wind turbine foundations, substation, electrical reticulation and control system.

“RCR is very pleased to have been selected together with our joint venture partner to deliver the Balance of Plant works for the Yaloak Wind Farm project for Pacific Hydro,” said RCR Managing Director/ CEO Dr Paul Dalgleish.

New South Wales

RCR has secured a contract with Alstom to deliver signalling and communications installation works on the Sydney Metro Northwest Project in Sydney – which is part of Sydney Metro’s stage one.

The scope of works will include installation of cables as well as signalling equipment for the entire length of the Northwest line of Sydney Metro. RCR will also be working on a stabling yard, skytrain and an upgrade to the existing rail tunnels between Epping to Chatswood.

RCR has also secured a three-year extension contract at the Wollongong Universities Innovation Campus to deliver facilities management services.

New Zealand

RCR’s proprietary boilers secured two new contracts for works in New Zealand. The first is a 10-megawatt steam boiler for Red Stag Timber and the second is a 20-megawatt steam-powered boiler for Mataura Valley Milk Limited.

“RCR continues to see improvements in the forward work load across the business and in particular our presence in the renewable energy sector. We are seeing signs of growth in rail infrastructure and in our traditional energy markets in the Australasian region,” Dr Dalgleigh said.
