RCR Tomlinson has been awarded an $85 million contract for the design and construction of First Solar’s 48.5MW Manildra Solar Farm in New South Wales.
RCR’s scope of works on the solar farm – located one kilometre from Manildra – will include the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) as well as commissioning of the solar farm, associated substations and grid connection works.

Construction on the Manildra Solar Farm is expected to commence in June 2017 and be completed by Q2 of 2018.

Construction on Risen Energy’s 121MW Yarranlea Solar Farm in Queensland moves to the next stage with two local companies awarded contracts to deliver works on the project. The two contracts awarded are for bulk earthworks and survey works.
