Sydney-based Heyday5 – a recently acquired subsidiary of Southern Cross Electrical Engineering (SCEE) – has secured over $50 million in new electrical services work contracts for various major development projects.

“Heyday5 was acquired to enable SCEE to diversify into the buoyant east coast commercial market and it is pleasing to be able to announce these successes so soon after the transaction,” said SCEE Managing Director Graeme Dunn.

Heyday5 will be working on three developments in Sydney, including:

  • Provision of 93,000-SQM of office space in the ATP Redfern building 1
  • Work on the W Hotel in Darling Harbour under the Ribbon project
  • The Greenland Centre – a luxury residential tower

The company will also be working on the Midnight project, which is Canberra’s first high-density development along the new light rail route.

“The awards provide a significant boost to Heyday5’s already healthy order book and their tendering levels remain high against a large opportunity pipeline,” Mr Dunn said.
