Valmec has secured a number of contracts for work on gas and infrastructure projects in Western Australia. The contracts have a combined value of $7 million.
The company will primarily be working for APA Group on the 198-kilometre Yamarna Gas Pipeline (YGP). Valmec will undertake the construction, fabrication and installation of metering as well as delivery stations for the YGP project.
The YGP – located 200 kilometres north east of Laverton – is going to supply power to the Gruyere Gold Project, which is a joint venture between Gold Road and Gold Fields.
Valmec has also won a contract to deliver civil construction work on the Pluto Compressor Station for the Dampier Bunbury Pipeline, a project operated and owned by DBP that runs almost 1539-kilometres of natural gas mainline pipe through Western Australia.
The third contract secured by Valmec is for infrastructure services work for CBH Group on the Mirambeena grain receival located near Albany.
Works on the contracts are expected to commence immediately and be completed before the end of the financial year.
