Written by Kerri McGrath | Aug 29, 2016 2:00:00 PM

The Woolgoolga to Ballina project will upgrade about 155 kilometres of highway. The project starts approximately six kilometres north of Woolgoolga (north of Coffs Harbour) and ends approximately six kilometres south of Ballina.

The McIlwain Civil Engineering / FKG Group Joint Venture has been shortlisted for a number of bridge only construction packages. The main civil works shortlisting is still in progress

The Woolgooga to Ballina project as a whole involves duplicating the 115km Pacific Highway to a motoray standard or aterial road, with two lanes in each direction and room for a third lane if necessary in the future.
