GR awarded $36m facility project with Auctus

GR Engineering, a Perth based company, has just announced their most recent contract award, a $36 million engineering, procurement or construction (EPC) contract with Auctus Resources.

GR will be designing and constructing the completion works for the Mungana zinc, lead, copper and gold concentrator facility in Chillagoe, Northern QLD – which has a capacity of 500,000 tonnes per year.

“GR Engineering looks forward to working with Auctus and to establishing a long term relationship with this first time client through the delivery of successful outcomes for the Mungana Project.” – GR Engineering Managing Director, Geoff Jones

The company is planning to work on this project primarily through their Brisbane office. Works on the facility will start immediately, and is expected to be completed in April 2017.
