Main Roads WA has awarded Perth-based contractor Maca a contract worth about $18.4 million to provide services in the Kimberley region.

Maca will be providing resources, plant and materials as well as traffic management services and minor works for an initial two-year period, with two more one-year extension options.

“This award is part of Maca’s growth strategy in its civil offering by providing a road asset management and maintenance service capability to the business in Western Australia.

“We look forward to growing our relationship with Main Roads in this area of business,” Maca’s Operations Director Geoff Baker said.

Up to 18 jobs is expected to be supported by this project with Maca.
