The Inland Rail that will connect Melbourne to Brisbane is Australia’s largest freight rail infrastructure project to date, and its development is progressing well. Due to the size of the project, it has been the talk of builders from across the country.
The Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Narrabri to North Star section of the massive Inland Rail development has been granted approval, taking this project one step closer to beginning construction and supporting jobs in New South Wales.
Construction will soon commence on the remaining eight Inland Rail projects in Victoria following the appointment of John Holland as the preferred builder for the Beveridge to Albury – Tranche 2 section.
