Victoria Project Spotlight #tendertuesday

Gina Theron   |   August 17, 2015

Victoria, there's a truck load of projects in your local area and we've complied a list to help you take advantage of these upcoming opportunities.

Digging up projects from across the country, #tendertuesday is a series of posts covering a number of public and selective tenders currently open in each state. This week we focus on current tenders listed through the Victorian Government.

Submitting tenders for Government projects requires patience and attention to detail, as leaving out or missing any aspect of the document can cost you the opportunity to win work. Use the checklist below to ensure you're submitting a complete and conforming tender document. It'll help give your company the best chance of winning the tender.

When submitting a conforming Government tender, remember to:

  • Ensure it is submitted by the closing date and time
  • Submit the document in the format and method outlined in the tender offer
  • Confirm you're available for the minimum validity period
  • Make sure your tender submission satisfies all the mandatory requirements (Will's, Shall's, Must's)
  • Review your submission and ensure the document covers all sections of the tender document in full
  • Ensure you have valid licensing, registration and comply with the general requirements outlined by the Victorian Government.
  • Comply with any required security/criminal history checks

Always write yourself a checklist and ensure you're ticking the boxes when completing your tender document. Missing important points can cost you a project, so be thorough!
