Decmil has signed a three-year Framework Agreement with Shell-operated QGC Pty Ltd for brownfields work at the QGC facility in Queensland’s Surat Basin. This contract is valued at approximately $150 million, with an option to extend a further 2 years.
“This extension builds on the strong relationship we have with QGC and we are pleased to continue to support their upstream operations,” Decmil CEO and Managing Director Scott Criddle said.
Under the agreement, Decmil will provide a range of construction, maintenance and logistic services across QGC’s upstream projects.
Works under this contract will commence in November 2018.
Decmil has been in operations at QGC’s upstream project for more than seven years and the company has provided a number of services including installation of wellheads as well as brownfield maintenance activities.
Earlier this month, Decmil was also awarded an $86 million construction contract for the Drysdale Bypass project in Victoria.
