Decmil receives $17m extension for works on LNG project in Gladstone QLD

Monica Gameng   |   November 9, 2016

Contracting company Decmil Group has just been awarded a $17 million contract extension with Queensland Gas Company (QGC) for works on the Queensland Curtis LNG (QCLNG) project in Gladstone. With this extension, Decmil will continue to provide wellsite installation services for this project until June 2017.

Works under the extension will include supporting QGC’s operations with wellhead construction as well as logistics, material management and various construction services.

The current extension builds on Decmil’s $80 million contract with QGC to provide installation services at the QCLNG project which was awarded back in December 2013. The company also received a $65 million extension to the same contract back in January 2015.
