Perth-based Maca Limited has been awarded a $100 million contract for mining services on Ramelius Resources’ Mount Magnet gold project.
Maca’s scope of works on the mine – located 500 kilometres north east of Perth in the Murchison Goldfield – will consist of open-pit services including drilling, blasting, loading and hauling.
Work is expected to commence in July 2017 once contract terms have been finalised. Maca will be servicing the Mount Magnet mine for approximately three years.
“We look forward to working closely together to ensure mutual success,” Maca Limited Director Geoff Baker said.
Maca has also secured a $49 million bulk earthworks contract from Gold Road for works on the Gruyere gold project in April as well as a $10 million contract from Northern Minerals for works on the Browns Range heavy earths pilot project.
